Our Story

So...there it was...fifty years old and aging, but with the charm and elegance characteristic of its time...spacious homes, elegant design, large rooms, raised ceilings, crown molding, hardwood floors...and good bones, really good bones - all inside classic architecture in a great neighborhood.

The downside was antiquated kitchens and baths, limited closet space and just plain unacceptable electric service, plumbing and heating and air conditioning, coupled with poor landscaping and dilapidated garages.

Our Goal:

Build a home, a warm, comfortable place where folks can enjoying living for extended periods, taking pride in their homes without the headaches ownership sometimes brings.

Our Design Objective:

Modernize, but retain the charm and elegance. Our efforts included:

  • Converted screen porches to sunrooms
  • Gutted, enlarged and replaced the kitchens
  • Gutted and replaced the bathrooms
  • New electrical service from the curb
  • New plumbing and central heating and air conditioning
  • Installed smart home wiring
  • Installed security protection with keypad entry
  • Restored the garages with remote control entry

Tried to attend to the little things like California closets, roll out cabinet shelves, multiple Internet and TV connections and double lock entry and tried to maintain the little touches - everything from glass doorknobs to book shelves and the decorative fireplaces

We hope that you will visit...judge for yourself.
